Congratulations to Heathere Evans-Keenan, APR, 2011 Washington PR Woman of the Year

 

PRofessional Solutions, LLC and other members of The Boss Ladies were proud to be sponsors of the 22nd annual Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) Washington PR Woman of the Year awards program on November 15, 2011 at the Capital Hilton.    

Heathere Evans-Keenan, APR, president of Keenan PR, Inc. was presented with this prestigious award. Evans-Keenan founded Keenan PR, an award-winning public relations and communications firm, in 1999 and has served as president of the National Capital Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). 

The event featured a keynote address by Jen Psaki, former White House deputy communications director and current managing director of Global Strategy Group.  A raffle was held to benefit WWPR’s pro bono client, Thrive DC, a nonprofit working to end homelessness.

PRofessional Solutions, LLC is proud to underwrite the Senior Communicators Council breakfast series of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) DC Metro chapter.

PRofessional Solutions, LLC Partners with AWC-DC, Sponsors Matrix Scholarship

Katherine Cotsonas, a junior at American University with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations, received the 2010 AWC-DC Matrix Scholarship, sponsored by PRofessional Solutions, LLC.

 

In a long-term arrangement with the DC chapter of the Association for Women in Communications, this is the third year PRofessional Solutions has sponsored the Matrix Scholarship.

 

“We are proud to support the development of future women leaders in our profession,” said PRofessional Solutions Managing Director Melanie Jordan at the May 19 reception at the National Press Club.

Perrin Honored at 2009 AWC-DC Matrix Award Luncheon

 

PRofessional Solutions' CEO Kate Perrin received a Matrix Award for Professional Achievement from the DC chapter of the Association of Women in Communications (AWC-DC) at an annual luncheon where the chapter recognizes top women communicators in the region. The luncheon was held on May 14th at the National Press Club. Michelle Singletary, nationally syndicated columnist for The Washington Post and author was also honored. 

 

Past recipients include Eleanor Clift, Cokie Roberts and Andrea Mitchell. Clift, the 2008 Matrix award winner, served as emcee of the event.
